We offer the following services:
Foot assessments, for any questions about your feet, aches and pains.
We perform a biomechanical assessment, gait analysis with the Footmaxx metascan, take pictures of your feet for our files and make a diagnosis of your complaint.
From the assessment visit, some patients will return for casted foot orthotics, some are made by Paris orthotic lab or Footmaxx orthotic lab. Both of the labs are accredited and manufacture a great product.
We also provide service for pain management, padding and strapping, joint immobilization, cold laser from the MDX or EMS Magnetic Laser.
We have the new Extra Corporal Shockwave therapy called Swiss Dolorclast. We have had great results at treating and healing painful heels, such as heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, shin splints, Morton's neuroma, bunions and metatarsalgia.
We also provide acupuncture, homeopathy and herbology for various aches and pains all over the body.
Some patients see us for general foot care, diabetic foot care, corns, callouses, warts, thick ugly toe nails, ingrown toe nails and fungal nails.
Ingrown toenails are a concern for some of our patients. We provide conservative care by routinely cutting back the nail or performing nail surgery. It can be the full nail or just one or two sides. The goal is for your ingrown toenail not to grow back. This is performed with a local anesthetic and you must be healthy, non-diabetic, and not taking blood thinners or steroids. This surgery is only for patients who heal easily and quickly – those who do not are best treated with conservative care. It takes approximately three weeks with daily foot soaks and dressing changes for the toe to heal completely.
Podiatrists, Acupuncturists and Natural Therapists, in general, do not require a referral to see you as a patient but your insurance provider may request one for you to be refunded for your visit. Calling your insurance provider prior to your appointment is a good idea. Feel free to contact our office should you require an appointment or more information.
